Clinician Scientist(m/f/d)
Scope of duties
In our research program IOLIN, you can lay the foundation for your scientific career through education and training at the interface of local and immunooncological therapies in a highly innovative, clinic-oriented research field with enormous development potential. IOLIN involves 11 institutions of LMU Hospital and LMU. The main content areas are:
- Local Interventions (surgical, hyperthermic, radiotherapeutic, radiological)
- Local delivery (biochemical, pharmaceutical)
- Local and systemic immune monitoring (pathological, metabolic)
- Antibody-based therapies (polyspecific, immunomodulation)
- Cell-based therapies (CAR, TCR T cells)
The IOLIN program is characterized by strong interdisciplinary networking and an innovative research and education program.
Our requirements
- Completed studies in human medicine with license to practice medicine, open to all disciplines
- Medical doctorate, at least completed experimental part of the doctoral thesis
- Independent, responsible, flexible working style and ability to work in a team
- Very good English and German language skills
Our offer
- 4-year structured education and training program with individual mentoring
- 18 months of full-time research
- 6-12 months of follow-up funding with 40:60 research:clinical split
- Participation in advanced training, national and international congresses
- The remuneration is based on the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Federal States (TV-Ärzte) including all allowances customary in the public service.
